Library

Smålands nation has its own library where you can sit and study during the day between 10.00 and 17.00. Our library includes course literature in linguistics, literary studies and rhetoric, which we are currently updating. Lending is currently taking place during office hours.

Lending rules for Småland’s national library

  1. To be able to borrow books, membership in one of Uppsala’s 13 student nations is required
  2. Loan cards are not issued, but you borrow books with a valid national ID and ID document
  3. The loan period is 4 weeks
  4. Re-lending is possible if there is no other borrower in the queue, mail biblioteksmalands@gmail.com no later than three days before the end of the loan period to receive confirmation of rebooking, otherwise the book must be returned.
  5. Two re-loans via email are possible, after which the borrower is required to bring the book / books to the library in order for re-loans to take place.
  6. If the loan is not returned on time, the borrower will be suspended from additional lending for a period of 1 month.
  7. The delay fee amounts to SEK 10 / book and week.
  8. If the book / books have not been returned within 1 month after the return date, the borrower will be required to pay the amount that a new purchase of the book / books will cost the library.
