Latin Dance Nights

The Latin Dance group organises social dance events with Salsa, Bachata and Kizomba music. Our aim is to spread the passion for dancing, jointly improve our skills, socialise and have fun. Just come and watch for a first impression!

We meet every Thursday at Stora Festsalen for social dancing. Occasionally, there will be workshops for beginners or experienced dancers. Join our Facebook group Latin Dance @ Smålands Nation for information about our activities and weekly events.

The Latin Dance Nights are open for everyone to participate. You do not need a nation card (enter through the backyard from St. Olofsgatan and not through the pub), and there are no fees. If you want to dance, please bring dancing shoes, clean (indoor) shoes, or dance in socks, and leave your dirty shoes in the hall before entering Festsalen – especially in winter. There is no need to come with a dance partner since it is common to change partner after every song.
